( there are people who get the huntress death scenario. I think a lot of people are attributing their death scenarios to the bug without researching or investigating. And receiving info on the workaround and them being grateful. In comparison to this I’ve seen posts where people ask for help regarding the bug with people just wanting info. I explained the work around to him in my first response, but also told him that based on his post it was the bug. He kept say deep silver this and deep silver that. He just kept attacking when I, based on his initial post, told him it wasn’t a bug and that he should look for his items. I got involved in a post the other day where a guy was asking if a situation was a bug or not. I do feel like if that’s what’s happening it does need to stop. What I am saying is that criticism is fair and should be given but please just give criticism and don’t hate on them, seen a few of those too This game is to me like the piranha bites games formula perfected to the core with a gruesome combat system which is clunky and outdated and a character that to me feels very real. There are flaws of course and pointing them out should be done because hell, this game is amazing as the buggy thing it is, if they fix it, this game will legitimately be a threat and a lesson to triple A games and developers. But it’s lacking content soon threw me off and I was left saddend by Bioware, the same studio that brought out the mass effect trilogy, a trilogy of games with such a story that (and I shit you not) it was my primary tool for getting through my depression.Īnd now I play Outward and despite me losing relics and whatnot to bugs, getting stuck, failing quests that were never clear to begin with, a messed up hitbox on an enemy whose name I forgot, and yet I am back at it pretty much every day with my younger brother, grinding the grind and doing the daily chores. I played Anthem, a beautiful triple a game that for a short while with it’s lightning fast gameplay captivated me for a few weeks.

If this is what they can do with only 10 people, I want to see them make a game with a full development team.Ĭriticism is fair and I posted enough of it. I feel like I have already had my $40 worth of enjoyment and have encouraged everyone I know to at least look at the game because I want to support future projects from this company. I’ve put 18 hours of play into the game and not even left the first region. I haven’t lost any items from my bag and haven’t experienced any texture or stuttering bugs. I suppose I have been luck in that the only bug I have encountered is my bow disappearing after dodging and a new weird bow bug that won’t let me shoot my bow or pull my sword back out until I dodge. The criticisms are fair and I uderstandable. Let’s give them some time to work out the kinks. The game has been out for 5 days, and no matter how much they tested it it is nothing compared to thousands of people playing it and encountering bugs. It has happened in tons of huge money AAA games On release with hundreds of people working on them.

Maybe there are some game breaking bugs, but you people are acting like this is the first time this has happened. So maybe take in to consideration that for a game that only had 10 people working on it, it is a huge step in the right direction.

And that seems like a pretty reasonable thing to be upset about honestly, so it should be okay to talk about it. So I'm dissapointed, because I payed for this game, with my money, because I was told I would get something, and didn't get it. I pre-ordered the game because 1) I'm dumb 2) I believed the devs when they said they wouldn't put out a game that was buggy and broken in the pre-release gameplay videos on their channel. And just because YOU haven't experienced any of the game breaking bugs, doesn't mean they don't exist, so don't berate people for talking about them, and don't get angry whenever someone says something negative about the game.Īs someone who had been following the game for a decent amount of time pre-release, I think it's fair for me to say that I am very dissapointed with this game. It doesn't mean that it's garbage you shouldn't spend your money on, but people should definitely be aware of the problems with this game. This game is very buggy, and it's okay to say it. I see a ton of people defending the devs and the game itself, getting upset when anyone criticizes it.
